Shipping policy
Once the items ships, you will receive a ship confirmation email with tracking information (if you opted for tracked shipping).
We're happy to ship your order anywhere in the world with the exception of some very remote communities.
It depends on the destination and the shipping service you opted for.
Items shipped within Canada through standard delivery usually take approximately 7-14 days to arrive. A tracked parcel will take 2-10 business days depending on the destination.
For USA the FedEx delivery usually happens within 1-2 business days. A standard USPS delivery may take 2-3 weeks.
For all other countries, it takes approximately 1-2 weeks to arrive through FedEx and 3-4 weeks for regular delivery.
Shipping times can vary depending on several factors and delays can happen beyond the stipulated times stated above.
International shipping can have delays by customs at your border.
Returns and exchanges
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you may return it within the first 30 days of shipment for a full refund or exchange.
If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your order, you may return it within the first 30 days of shipment for a full refund or exchange. Free returns are limited to three per customer. You may choose any carrier for returning the goods.
Yes. Any gemstone can be exchanged for 100% credit towards a new purchase. The gemstone being upgraded must be in original condition and accompanied by original laboratory grading document (if applicable).

Yes. All sensitive data is encrypted using 256-bit Secure Socket Layers (SSL). We ensure that all pages, content, data...everything is protected using SSL encryption. This ensures that no data could be intercepted as it goes over the network.

Payments
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover), as well as PayPal.
Many customers purchasing items valued over $1,000 prefer paying by wire transfer. Wire transfer orders receive a 1.5% discount from our listed price. Customers paying by wire will receive wiring instructions once they contact us through phone or email. We must receive confirmation from our bank that a wire transfer has been completed before items can be shipped. At our sole discretion, we may require bank wire payment for any international order or orders in excess of $20,000.
Credit card orders can be placed online using our secure server.
Yes. Bank wire customers receive a 1.5% discount off their entire order.
Iris Gems collects HST on orders that are shipped to Canada. For international orders we do not collect any tax. Please check the customs and tax charges for your country and state.
The security code is a 3 or 4 digit number that appears on your credit card. Visa and MasterCard users will find this code above the signature on the back of the card. Discover and American Express users will find this number on the top right of the front of the card.

These certificate assures the value and quality of your gemstone. GIA, Gubelin, SSEF, GRS and AGL are the gold standard in gemstone. Their reports detail key characteristics of each gemstone.
Eye-Clean" is a term used to describe a diamond that is clean to an unaided eye in a face-up position from a distance of 8 to 10 inches.
We ship every loose gemstone after a careful inspection from our
in-house gemologists to ensure quality. You may also request independent lab reports & certificates at extra cost. This report can be examined by a qualified gemologist and compared against the unique characteristics of your gemstone.
Nowadays, most gems are treated to improve appearance. Treatment processes can consist of heat, irradiation, dyeing, oiling, or other processes. Detection of these treatments may be easy to nearly impossible. However, we disclose this information for the stones we sell. You may read more about the treatment in our journal.
No. Iris Gems sells only 100% natural gemstones. We guarantee that our stones are natural and organic.
Yes. However, image colors may vary due to the difference in display qualities in electronic devices.
